Delete Your AzadSIM Account
This page explains how to delete your AzadSIM account and what happens to your data when you do.
Important Notice
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please ensure you have used any remaining data on your eSIMs before proceeding, as unused data will not be refunded after account deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
Follow these steps to delete your AzadSIM account from within the app:
Step 1: Open Settings
Open the AzadSIM app and navigate to the Settings screen by tapping the settings icon or menu option.
Step 2: Edit Profile
In Settings, tap on Edit Profile to access your account management options.
Step 3: Delete Account
Scroll down and tap the Delete Account button. You will be asked to confirm your decision before your account is permanently deleted.
What Data Is Deleted
When you delete your AzadSIM account, the following data will be permanently deleted:
- • Your personal profile information (name, email address, phone number)
- • Your account credentials and login information
- • Your eSIM purchase history and transaction records
- • Active eSIM profiles associated with your account
- • Any saved payment methods
- • Your app preferences and settings
- • Push notification tokens and preferences
What Data Is Retained
Certain information may be retained for a limited period as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- • Transaction records: Financial transaction data may be retained for up to 7 years to comply with UAE tax and accounting regulations.
- • Legal compliance data: Information required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal proceedings may be retained as necessary.
- • Anonymized analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for service improvement purposes.
Retention Period
Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days of your account deletion request. Retained data (as described above) will be kept for the legally required retention period, after which it will be securely deleted.
Data Security
All data deletion is performed securely following industry-standard practices. We use secure deletion methods to ensure your personal information cannot be recovered after deletion.
